Help the local environment.

You’ll also experience & participate in our citizen science project. Following our validated methodology, you’ll be provided with much-needed data to help protect the environment. The goal of citizen science is to inspire our guests to follow leave-no-trace principles, making it easy to enjoy and explore nature while protecting it and contributing to real scientific research. After the collection, that data is uploaded to our research partners’ database, where they’ll use it in their research that will help inform policy making.

Stories From Our Happy Explorers

In the heart of arctic nature

A lovely small group tour of the fjords surrounding Tromso. We got to view some stunning scenery and up close and personal with reindeer in the wild. The guide and driver were excellent and good natured. Enjoyed our lunch and hot juice made for us on the beach! The guide was particularly informative about wildlife and sustainable practices.

Great insights into Arctic landscapes

We really enjoyed the trip! We got a very good impression of the beauty of the Arctic landscapes. Reindeer on the beach:-) Tour Guide Evgeni has very great knowledge about the region and Norway. With the driver Kristoffer we felt very safe. The guide took great photos and made them available to us. Highly recommended!

Fantastic!

This tour was fantastic. We were so looking forward to seeing Tromso and our guide Evgeni was like family proudly showing off his favorite spots. . We were taken to the most spectacular viewing areas. We also had an amazing lunch packed for us which we ate on a local beach. We toured beautiful Tromso for about 5 hours. Our only disappointment was those 5 hours seemed to fly by. We highly recommend The Wandering Owl Team.
