The Arctic Forest Passage: Don’t just travel, explore.

Why spend a whole day sitting in a vehicle when you can make the journey itself a highlight of your trip? Our snowshoeing transfer between Levi and Rovaniemi turns your travel time into a real Arctic adventure. We leave the main roads behind to take you into remote landscapes that you wouldn’t easily reach on a standard tour. You will break up the drive by strapping on snowshoes and walking through deep, quiet forests. Along the way, we stop at frozen lakes and share a local-style lunch in a secluded wilderness hut. It is the smartest way to get from one town to the other while actually experiencing the wild, untouched side of Lapland.

Witness: Remote Arctic landscapes.

Travel between Levi and Rovaniemi doesn’t have to mean just watching the scenery from a window. We stop at open areas like frozen rivers or lakes where you can step out, take in wide views, and see the natural beauty of the winter environment far away from the busy main roads.

Experience: Guided snowshoeing and a wilderness lunch.

Instead of a quick rest stop, your break is an actual outdoor activity. Put on snowshoes for a 45 to 60-minute guided walk in the quiet forest. Afterwards, relax in a secluded wilderness hut (laavu) where we serve a local-style lunch and share stories about everyday life and nature in Finland.

Challenge yourself: The winter outdoors.

Make your travel day active. Navigating the deep snow on snowshoes is a fun way to stretch your legs and experience the cold Arctic air before getting back into the vehicle for the rest of your journey.
