Have you come this far north to see the never-ending sunset of the arctic summer nights? How about watching it sitting in front of a bonfire and having a warm homemade meal? Leave the town behind you and join us for an unforgettable experience. Lean back and relax while watching the sun, which lowers on the horizon but never sets below it. This is a tour for those who want to experience arctic nature and wilderness in a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. We’ll find a nice location overlooking the sea towards the north-west to enjoy the amazing shades of light of the arctic summer nights and ratatouille prepared over the fire.

Safety considerations: The tour involves a small amount of walking/hiking; the conditions may be icy, slippery, uneven, muddy, a bit snowy, hot, humid, windy or otherwise. The temperatures may be cold and windy. Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and have ample water for the activity. Wandering Owl has appropriate liability insurance, but please ensure you have your own medical and travel insurance, just as you would normally have.

- Information about the meeting location: The pick up location is in front of the Scandic Ishavhotel for all Wandering Owl supplied tours. Directions can be found here. There is no Wandering Owl signage, but it's easy to find. We ask that you arrive 5 - 10 minutes early. Please arrive on time - we can not delay the departure for guests and participants who fail to arrive on time. Our guides will arrive 5 minutes before departure because the vehicle can not be standing in this parking zone for longer than 10 minutes. If there is traffic, the guides might be slightly delayed.
