Join us for a quick trip into the fjords and photograph the most stunning fjord in Northern Norway. Kvaløya is known for its beautiful fjords where the mountains meet the sea. We'll stop for the views on our way to Ersfjord. In Ersfjordbotn, you can explore the little village and visit the quaint cafe Bryggejentene & see its selection of local crafts.
We can pick you up and drop you off at the harbour or in the city centre, so you can combine this tour with a city walking tour if you wish. In the summer, pick-up times at the cruise ship dock* (Breivika Havn, pier 24-25): 10:45 AM or 12:45 PM, depending on the date. Pick up times in front of Scandic Ishavshotel: 11:00 or 13:00, depending on the date. In the winter, pick-up times at the cruise ship dock* (Breivika Havn, pier 24-25): 09:30 AM or 10:30 AM. Pick up times in front of Scandic Ishavshotel: 9:45 or 10:45.
*Please note that some of the cruise ships dock at pier 7-8 in the city centre, right next to the Tourist Information Office & only 200m to our pick up point.

Safety considerations: The tour involves walking; the conditions may be icy, slippery, uneven, muddy, a bit snowy, hot, humid, windy or otherwise. The temperatures may be cold and windy, so please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and have ample water for the activity. Wandering Owl has appropriate liability insurance, but all participants must have their own travel insurance, just as you would normally have.

- Information about the meeting location: The pickup location is in front of the Scandic Ishavshotel for all Wandering Owl supplied tours (or Brevika Kai 21 upon request). Directions can be found here. There is no Wandering Owl sign, but it's easy to find. We ask that you arrive 5 - 10 minutes early. Please arrive on time - we can not delay the departure for guests who fail to arrive on time. Our guides will arrive 5 minutes before departure because the vehicle can not be standing in this parking zone for longer than 10 minutes. If there is traffic or snow, the guides might be slightly delayed.
