Ice Fishing on the Wild Side Geilo

Come along with us for this unique night excursion, & try ice fishing. Leave the beaten tracks & immerse yourself in the Norwegian wilderness. We'll explore between two of the most scenic Norwegian National parks: the Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet. As we snowshoe through the landscape, you will be amazed by the stars & unspoilt nature in one of the purest areas of the world. Listen to the snow crunch as you walk your way through the fresh snow glowing under the moonlight & the stars. Your guide will take you through the wilderness to a frozen lake or small river, where a hole in the ice will be made. Have a turn at ice fishing under the stars. Meanwhile, your guide with start a small campfire, for you to warm up around. Relax with a hot chocolate & homemade cookies while you share stories and learn about local eco-systems. Your guide will take photographs of you, which you'll receive after the tour in web-sized resolution.

Minimum age: 8 years old (please assess your child's comfort & safety for this activity)
Meeting time: 17:00
Departure: 17:10 
Return: Drop off to your accommodation in Geilo. 
Inclusions: Homemade biscuits & hot chocolate, fishing equipment, tripods (on request), photos of the tour in web-sized resolution.
Safety considerations: The tour involves some walking (at least 3km); the conditions may be icy, slippery, uneven, muddy, snowy, or otherwise. The temperatures may be extremely cold (sometimes below -30) please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing.
